Half moon party - One of the biggest party events in Asia!

last night Robert and me joined one of the big party events in asia!

Once upon a time people started to realize, that the moon and the stars are unbelievable intensive in Kho Phangan. I think it is because there is no light pollution around here, because it is in the middle of the ocean and here are really just a few houses. No streetlights!  I have never seen so many stars in the sky! In the cities we just see the big bright ones.... but over here it is like there are more than twice as much as you can see at home.....Of course the moon is even more intense than the stars.... It is really like a huge lamp in the sky.... 

Anyway people thought, that they have to celebrate the moon once a month! So they started to dance for the full moon and called it full moon party! Every month approximately 10.000 people from all over the world come together to celebrate this nature phenomena! And because people always wanna get more and more money nowadays they celebrate also half moon and black moon.... so there is a huge "rave" every week....kkkkk

And because people want to glow like the moon they get shiny tattoos! We got them too! Now you can guess which arm is Roberts and which is mine! kkkk

Before starting the party Robert and me had "Handsome Sandwiches" kkkk we had a huge smile on our face, that there is a restaurant called "Handsome Sandwiches" because we heard this word many times in Korea!

 And they even had Bloody cold beer for Robert kkkkk

 They also sell Handsome Gasoline kkkkk

 And of course there were so many dogs.... there are dogs everywhere in Thailand. So crazy.... they hunt in the jungle for food if they want to... And at night they are sooo tired.... In the beginning I felt a little uncomfortable with the dogs, but they never come to you.... so now I think they are cute kkk

 That's our handsome sandwich...

 And we had a Heineken.... We thought of Christoph while drinking...kkk

 After this pre party we chartered our taxi and went to the party.... it was a real huge spectacle for your eyes and ears...

 In the entrance area you got your tattoo to show of! 

 Even free jelly shots for us!

 That's the early dancefloor.... he was pretty empty before 00:00!

 And we saw a very cool fire show... the whole night kkk

 Sometimes the fire guys were missused as lighter!

 Some people had too much of the tattoo color on their body kkkk

The music was trance - techno style... But after the first bucket of Thai-Whiskey we danced the night away! It was really a cool night... and they really sell buckets for drinking.... But one per person is enough! kkkk

 And there you can just get an idea what we celebrated last night....
